Engaging the Engagement

.

During my recent hiatus, I've had a few meaningful events happening at my home front.
One is the euphoria of Imran scoring all As in his PMR examination. Congratulations again, darling!

The other is my eldest daughter's engagement ceremony held in December.

I have been wondering if there is any other mother who has had the assistance of the internet to help organize some part of the event. I mean, it's so simple, if you don't have the slightest idea about anything at all, just click on the google engine. If you happen to like anything you see, you can order online, and some of the local netpreneurs are really efficient.

Let me elaborate a little bit without infringing on my daughter's privacy.I'm giving them credits here because they are really good.

I ordered this personalized ribbons from Create-my-own-gift. They delivered the ribbons at my doorstep within 2 weeks to enable me to decorate the choc boxes for our guests.

I can't forget to mention that wiz is the supplier of these beautiful daintily crafted muffette of cupcakes served as part of dessert for the day.

Presentations of 7 trays of hantaran and the lovely hand bouquet were prepared by Sherry.

The similarities between these hardworking young ladies is that they hold full time jobs and only nettrading parttime. And they are all based around Kuala Lumpur.

Of course, my daughter must have made use of the enormous amount of available information from the net too, for her wedding dress designer, makeup artists, fotographers and so on and so forth.....

There was no internet yet during the iceage decade when I got engaged (exaggerated for dramatic effect to gain sympathy), no wonder there was nothing much to remember about.........
